Color

There is one color Seifer is always associated with: the color of Red, like the red fire-crosses on his trenchcoat. With Square-Enix being Square-Enix, I thought that perhaps there is a meaning behind this.
Red is hot. It's a strong color that conjures up a range of seemingly conflicting emotions from passionate love to violence and warfare. Red is Cupid and the Devil...Use red to grab attention and to get people to take action. Use red when you don't want to sink into the background. Use red to suggest speed combined with confidence and perhaps even a dash of danger.

I suppose you could compare Seifer with the Devil, since Seifer is one of the main antagonists of the game. He's always there when you have to fight a sorceress; you have to defeat him in order to get through him - it's his job as the Sorceress' Knight. Seifer definitely hates being in the background and loves to command people. He has tons of confidence in himself and his attitude gives him a 'bad-man', or dangerous, aura.
